HyperStem Bolt Tightening

The special M4 bolts of HyperStem at 2Nm pull about the same of a regular M6 bolt at 4Nm.
HyperStem bolts are made of hi quality Ti6Al4V and can withstand over 5Nm but never tighten them that much for a number of good reasons.
Always remind to de-grease well all the contact surfaces between bar and clamp, then lube only HyperStem bolts and tighten as for manual sequence.
We recommend those mild tightening torque values in order to protect the handlebar and steer tube and surfaces that very often are weak due to the fully absence of transversal fibers.
As good rule always avoid excessive tightening torques wherever that's not strictly necessary.
